The richness of a career is often summed up in one word: agility. With a degree in sales and marketing, a specialization in negotiation, currently Head of Strategy & Commercial Performance consultant, and a certified Vision for Leaders equicoach, Nadia Bazille, would you describe yourself as an "agile" woman?
"I don’t know if I’d describe myself as agile—it’s not really up to me to label my own abilities that way! But clearly, my initial training and various leadership roles in business have strengthened this character trait: a drive to take on challenges, lead projects, and open new perspectives. Management and interpersonal understanding inevitably require a form of agility, especially emotional agility, to build real human cohesion. I appreciate agility as a true human capacity, a wellspring from which I draw my energy. It pushes me to go beyond myself, to innovate, and to build bridges between my skills and my passions. It’s also a powerful tool for connecting with others."
How would you describe your skills?
“For me, there can be no real skills without values such as generosity, sharing and kindness. It's a question of interpersonal skills and know-how. I’m Franco-Moroccan. My dual nationality draws on the richness of two countries, similar, yet distinct, bound by shared history and friendship. My roots are grounded in the values each has offered me. Tolerance and respect are central to who I am. Hospitality, sharing, and celebration are core elements of my Moroccan heritage.
So yes, I believe in individual skills, but they must be rooted in humanism and in a desire to pass things on. My expertise is built on high standards, perseverance, willpower, courage, and creativity. I’m a very structured person; I like helping others grow and seeing things through to completion. Commitment is very important to me. It gives strength, passion, and purpose. When lived with humanity, commitment itself becomes a true skill."
Does your recent equicoaching training have a connection to Morocco?
“It was indeed in Morocco that I first discovered horses as a child. In Morocco, the horse is part of the cultural heritage. Whether rich or poor, horses are part of everyday life for many people. I started riding at a very young age, and then as an adult, I rediscovered this incredible companion. With the maturity I had gained, I came to understand that the horse is a true revealer of talent.”
Why do you say it reveals talent?
“The horse acts as an emotional bridge. It welcomes us without judgment. It can be a powerful ally in beginning the journey toward self-discovery and connection with others. I dare say it helps you take ownership of your world—because it helps you uncover your potential and builds your self-confidence. Once you truly believe in who you are, no challenge seems insurmountable, no project out of reach! Being aware of your emotions is a real asset in today’s world, especially in the professional sphere. I witness this every day.”
The mental preparation and equicoaching you offer are rooted in emotions and emotional intelligence. How do you integrate these with the rationality and performance of the company?
“It’s about reconciling emotion and rationality. When we bring them together, they create a powerful force, an incredible performance booster in the workplace. We often assume that emotions are a handicap, but that’s a misconception. Some emotions, like intuition, can be powerful assets. Working on the emotional level helps you visualize goals, turn success into something tangible, and become a better leader. Performance routines are entirely transferable to the business world. By reconnecting with our emotions and learning to understand them, whether positive or negative, we can develop greater self-confidence, align with our true selves, and act with clarity. Whether in business, sports, or any other area of life, my goal is to help people make decisions that truly reflect who they are.”
