L'équicoaching, ou coaching avec des chevaux, se déroule généralement comme suit : 1. **La rencontre et le brief :** Vous rencontrez le coach équin et le cheval dans un environnement sûr et contrôlé, souvent une carrière ou un manège. Le coach vous explique le déroulement de la séance, les règles de sécurité et l'objectif de l'exercice. 2. **Interaction avec le cheval :** Le coach vous propose diverses tâches et exercices à réaliser avec le cheval. Il ne s'agit pas de monter le cheval, mais plutôt d'interagir avec lui au sol. Ces exercices peuvent inclure : * Guider le cheval dans un parcours sans le toucher. * Observer ses réactions et communiquer avec lui par le langage corporel. * Gérer la distance et l'espace autour du cheval. * Construire une relation de confiance. 3. **Observation et feedback du coach :** Le coach observe attentivement vos interactions avec le cheval. Il est attentif à votre langage corporel, à vos émotions, à votre façon de communiquer et à la manière dont vous réagissez aux comportements du cheval. Il vous pose des questions pour vous aider à réfléchir à ce que vous vivez. 4. **Débriefing et prise de conscience :** Après chaque exercice, ou à la fin de la séance, le coach vous aide à analyser ce qui s'est passé. Il fait des parallèles entre votre interaction avec le cheval et des situations dans votre vie personnelle ou professionnelle. L'objectif est de vous faire prendre conscience de vos schémas de pensée, de vos comportements et de vos émotions, et de vous aider à trouver de nouvelles perspectives et des solutions. 5. **Application des apprentissages :** Les prises de conscience acquises lors de la séance sont ensuite à transposer dans votre quotidien pour atteindre vos objectifs. En résumé, l'équicoaching utilise la dynamique homme-cheval pour favoriser la réflexion, la prise de conscience et le développement personnel ou professionnel, grâce à l'observation et au feedback d'un coach qualifié.
